If you are looking for somewhere to hold a family reunion, this is it. Hilltop Castle World is a private compound in the Pocono Mountains of north-eastern Pennsylvania. Unlike a hotel or a public resort, the building you book is yours alone — no other guests in it, no curfews — and if you book all four, so is the whole hill. Just your family, your schedule, and somewhere extraordinary to do it in.

We host reunions of every size, from gatherings of ten to multi-generation reunions of ninety. You can take the Farmhouse on its own for a smaller group, or combine all four buildings — the Castle, the Mansion, the Farmhouse and the Lodge — for 39 bedrooms and sleeping for 92.

Celebrate in style.

There is no better place for a milestone birthday — a 30th, a 40th, a 50th, a 60th, a 70th or an 80th. You get the privacy of a private house with the amenities of a resort. Hire the catering team so nobody has to cook. Bring in Ernie, the resident bartender, for full drink service. Have Joe the magician do tableside magic during dinner. Book Thaddeus for a custom Jeopardy or Family Feud tournament. You book each of them directly. Watch a film together in the 72-seat theater.

When families compare Hilltop to a large resort like Mohonk Mountain House or Kalahari, the difference is privacy and being together. At a resort your family is scattered across dozens of hotel rooms, sharing pools and restaurants with hundreds of strangers. Here the building you book, and everything in it, is yours alone for the length of your stay — and book all four, and the whole compound is, trails and all.

Where it is.

Hilltop Castle World is at 50 Castle Hill Rd, Beach Lake, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. It is two hours from New York City and Philadelphia, two from Newark, and an hour from Scranton. The nearest town, Narrowsburg, is minutes away and has The Heron and La Cigogne in it. Rafting on the Delaware, skiing at Big Bear and boating on Lake Wallenpaupack are all close.
